Trump is senile and doesn’t know he’s lying. In his own little world where unicorns eat cotton candy clouds and fart rainbows he believes everything he’s saying is the truth.

 

I read a pretty convincing op-ed that said exactly this; Trump knows so little that he doesn't truly believe that he's lying. Their examples were things like "best economy ever", "biggest tax break ever." He just doesn't freaking know enough to know differently.

To be fair, he knows quite a lot about adultery, fraud and sexual assault. But that's not very relevant to being fake-POTUS.

The Dems keep saying that this is ONLY when we are at war type of act... Name the war we were in... in the year 1948? That's the last time the POTUS used that act and the SCOTUS agreed with it's use.

Yeah... the law was NOT really about ONLY being at war with a country in order for this Act to be used legally by the POTUS.

Speaking of lying. The act has been used three times. War of 1812, WWI, and WWII. That's it. 1948 was during exactly none of those.

We don't want foreign gang members in the US. But we demand due process. If they are gang members worthy of deportation, prove it. Don't unconstitutionally use a war time power, when we're not at war, to suspend anyone's Constitutional rights. Especially when there's now multiple stories of innocent persons being swept up and sent to El Salvador.

Democracies like ours are built on the v premise it's better to let 10 guilty people go free rather than convict 1 innocent person. Fascists governments are the opposite.
