Have a relative that went there.... Small school close to the beach.

 

I love UNF. One of the most beautiful campuses I've ever been to. I used to play racquetball on the 4-wall outdoor courts. Much of it is on protected wetlands. Good academics, though limited. Our daughter considered going there in 1998, but chose to be a Gator instead.

 

I completley forgot there was a game today... I don't that I've ever done that before.

She's now the Asst. Director of the Genetics Institute at UF. I would agree with you.

 

Agreed. Really nice lakes around which most of the campus is organized. Lots of construction, so clearly on the upswing. And set in with nature all around.

In reading the school newspaper, I was surprised to see the students disparaging comments and even more surprised that the paper would select those for the 10 to print.

Never even heard of an outdoor racquetball court -- gonna look for it next year. I'd think the door would be an issue!

 

Racquetball courts may be gone. It was back in the 70's & early 80's when I played there.

 

Like the old handball courts on University Ave next to Murphee Hall

When they opened, jr/sr only. Gradually adding fr/soph classes. My FIL joined faculty in ‘72 (genetics /biology). After 36 years, retired in 2008.
