we will see what we have tomorrow as hopefully a different team and different lineup shows up with regards to actually hitting the ball.

 

We need more hitters. And or a different approach.

 

They added transfers that were major impacts. All 4 and believe it or not they have four freshmen in the starting lineup.

 

I’m praying we have those hitters because honestly, I don’t know if we do… A couple of guys may need to move down in the lineup or come out of the lineup as those were fast balls over, over, and over

 

What happened in the 7th inning just shows how great King pitched today. They ate up our other 3 guys.

Doesn’t matter who pitches tomorrow, if we don’t hit the ball, we will get swept. Pitching has been very solid this series until the last couple of innings. Our fans might not like Tennessee’s coach, but he’s probably one of the best the college game has ever seen and I can confidently say that even after just a couple of years of coaching. He’s the baseball equivalent of Spurrier.

 

Calm down Francis. He has won one NC (same as a lot of others). He’s good. Let’s not anoint him yet

 

I think we need to give Brookins a shot again. I'm not seeing it from Evans, Yost or Stripling.

It’s a lot easier to clean up in recruiting/portal when your NIL war chest is overflowing… Tennessee is in another class bank roll wise. Sully’s ability to bring the players we get and develop the talent that brings us to Omaha so often without the money of these other sec schools is what make him standout. We have 1 or 2 six figure a year players, Tennessee has 1 or 2 seven figure a year players.

 

It's a long season. Can't overreact to one series against the #1 team at their place. Let's not forget the Gators just pounded the previously undefeated noles.

 

This weekend has been a bit rough on the diamond for baseball/softball. That said, long season ahead. Learn from it and move forward.
