Isn't it awesome that the only crypto that isn't a blatant scam (Bitcoin) isn't included. That's MAGA for ya. Corrupt and dumb to the bone.

That will come in handy to pay off Russian Ransomware hackers.

At some point you have to wonder if there is some protocol in the Pentagon for this. It's as if Putin and Xi wrote the checklist for his first 60 days. . . and entire presidency. At what point does lead suppression need to be brought into the picture to prevent any more damage being done?

Hence, why there's no Bitcoin in it. You can't control it. Unlike these scams.

My bad. Headline just mentioned the scammy ones (i.e. anything not named Bitcoin). Probably there to give it some credibility so they can scam/fleece marks on the other ones.

    There's also this:
Under Trump, U.S. Increasingly Pulls Back From Crypto Crackdown
Maybe it's just me but I think sooner or later the crypto bubble will burst and the consequences to the US economy may be similar to those of the stock market crash of 1929 or the bursting the residential housing bubble in 2008 and if Trump goes forward with creating a strategic US crypto reserve the results could be even more severe.

my opinion...when he refuses a lawful court order, a collision that Roberts is bending over backwards to avoid. Twice now, on the dispersion of USAID funds and on the status of the Special Counsel Dellinger, Roberts has kicked the can down the road to avoid having to make a decision.

I suspect one of these will be the first test where the supremes can't delay it any longer and I don't see them siding with the admin on the special counsel but I am clueless and watching from the cheap seats. Likely the second one because it can't be strangled with a trickle like the aid issue can. It also doesn't require a department of fired employees to carry out. Yes, we released the funds, but there is nobody there to hit send or process the invoices. sorry judge, met the letter...sorry kids, win for human traffickers and slave labor...

one way he may split the issue, much like the judge did with the illegal removal of the florida prosecutor. almost like that was a test run for the cause

if this is the decision, or similar, the executive authority remains unchecked by the judicial branch and we start talking about what constitutes an unlawful order and citizen protests to drive impeachment. Legislators have to be more afraid of the voters than they are of Elon. A traitors list of people to be targeted or supported in primaries needs to be funded just like Elon is funding his maga primary candidates. Offer the pub legislators an equal fundign source and let them vote their conscious independent of the fear of being primaried

Ironic that the decision that let money into politics has resulted int he worlds richest man effectively controlling all three branches of the military and the worlds second richest man (Putin) telling potus how to run foreign policy.

How Will Chief Justice Roberts Split The Baby In Dellinger?

Roberts will find that the removal was unlawful, but that the court lacks an equitable cause of action to reinstate it, leaving backpay as the only available judicial remedy.

Saw a headline today that Donny is going to announce specifics.

Makes me wonder how they are going to keep this safe. Anyone with access to the "private keys" (which is just a series of letter of numbers attached to coin wallet, or a series of random words) can remotely steal the reserves and do it way that is completely untraceable. It's probably the easiest theft to pull off if you have the keys. This isn't like a gold bar where you have to walk out of Fort Knox with it, or a bank where wire transfers are traceable and reversable. How do you keep those keys safe in a government setting? Someone has to have access to them, possibly many people.

Trump family project WLFI’s current portfolio has incurred over $100 million in losses

Data from Arkham Intelligence revealed that the Trump family project World Liberty Financial’s (WLFI) current portfolio has accrued a total loss of around $110 million. WLFI purchased 9 digital assets for roughly $336 million and are now worth about $226 million.

The analytic firm noted that Ethereum accounted for 65% of the project’s assets and also accounted for the largest loss. World Liberty Financial purchased ETH at an average cost of $3,240, now the current price is slightly above the $2,000 mark.

Trump’s family-backed project World Liberty Financial has recorded losses amounting to $110 million dollars in the wake of the recent market downturn. According to Arkham Intelligence, the project’s portfolio of 9 nine cryptocurrencies purchased with $336 million is now worth about $226 million.

The firm noted that WLFI’s Ethereum portfolio, which accounts for 65%, recorded the largest loss. WLF purchased ETH at an average cost of 3,420; the digital asset is currently exchanging hands at 2,065 at the time of publication. The analytic platform identified that WLFI has 7.518K ETH holdings worth approximately $15.54 million at current prices. The project also has 162.69 Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) worth around $13.32 million at the current price of $18,899.

The Trump-backed firm continued to add more virtual assets to its holdings despite the recent market downturn that saw Ethereum dip below $2,000 last week. Onchain data revealed that WLFI used $25 million USDC on March 6 to purchase $10 million worth of ETH and $10 million worth of WBTC. Arkham noted that the project’s ETH holdings rose from 2,500 ETH to 7,100 ETH in 24 hours.

Trump literally has Jeff Bezos by the metaphorical balls through combination of potential awards and potential threats. Bezos is afraid that alienation of Trump could affect the ability of Bezos Blue Origin to get contracts for launch services and similarly the ability of AWS to obtain or retain federal contracts for web services. The threats being potential lawsuits by the Anti-Trust Division of the DOJ and the FTC against Amazon which has a roughly 50% share of the eCommerce market. .
