Biden in 2020 was the first democrat presidential candidate I ever voted for. I grew up in a republican household with Reagan in office, and I thought Reagan was much better than Carter and Mondale. Whenever a bad republican candidate came up (like GWB, or Trump), I put in a write-in candidate vote for someone like McCain or Kasich. Until I saw what a bad president Trump was, and I voted for Biden.

It is YOU who are not a republican. You are more of a zombie--doing Trump's bidding and cheerleading for him, regardless of how badly he screws up. Incapable of logic or intelligent discussion more advanced than the Fox News talking points you are given to repeat.

Neither of us liked them either but tried to pick the lesser of two bad candidates. We figured the house and senate would go Republican causing a stalemate. Trump scared us that much. I wish I had not voted at all, except I think every registered American should cast a vote. If not, you have no right to bitch.

We have similar backgrounds. Biden was my first ever vote for a Democrat for any national office. If Republicans keep putting forth deranged lunatics like Trump then it may be quite a while before I vote for a Republican Presidential candidate again. Not saying it will be Democrat as I’ve voted third party a couple times before but it certainly won’t be the current slate of “conservative” candidates.

 

Given that the first loyalty of co-Presidents Musk and Trump is to Russia, I guess that Mark Kelly is traitor.

 

After voting Republican for 5 straight Presidential elections, I ended up voting Democrat in the recent one. I’m not exactly bragging about it, but I felt the same way as the poster above. I was convinced that Trump had his mind set on his own agenda, and an axe to grind, if he were given this 2nd term. And whatever that was would take precedence over turning the US around towards the proper direction. No matter what comes out of his mouth, and how loud he yells for us to trust him
