And, once again, "illegal" being used to describe people with legal immigration status.

So legal status doesn't determine what makes a person "illegal?" Interesting. What does?

the fact that someone in the biden admin used a signature stamp to give them temp status may not make them legal- if they crossed into our country illegally then they have to go and quite frankly I do not care how we go about getting rid of them-

And once again, the law doesn't matter. All that matters are your feelings.

Not true, according to the law. Thus, "legal status." Only true according to your feelings.

Immigrants with pending applications for asylum are not illegals. That being said Trump has already indicated that he will withdraw Temporary Protected Status from hundreds of thousands if not millions of Venezuelan and Haitian immigrants in effect changing their status from legal to illegal. Despite what Trump said and it's already happening the overwhelming majority of undocumented immigrants being deported will not be persons who have committed serious crimes but those including the parents of young children and the children themselves whose only "crime" is presence in the US without proper documentation.

When can we expect to see the mass deportation that Trump promised Monday one of his presidency? So far he's at Biden numbers

It should already be obvious that in order to get his numbers up Trump will be targeting families with one or more members who happen to be undocumented not just single adults. He's already reopening the facility in Texas that he used to house families during his first administration.

I now fully understand why when the 1st term cult leader had House, and Senate but NEVER passed comprehensive immigration laws and now in the 2nd term, and now again with House and Senate still has not passed/proposed ANY comprehensive immigration laws: ALL the Cons seem to every bit of acumen towards immigration law as Bill. I'm sure that you are fine with the deportation of this woman.
This Christian Convert Fled Iran, and Ran Into Trump’s Deportation Policy
Artemis Ghasemzadeh’s conversion from Islam to Christianity evolved over a few years starting in 2019, through an Iranian network of underground churches and secret online classes. Three years ago, she was baptized and, in her words, “reborn.”

Converting was colossally risky. While Christians born into the faith are free to practice, Iran’s Shariah laws state that abandoning Islam for another religion is considered blasphemy, punishable by death. Some members of her Bible-study group were arrested.

When her feet touched American soil, she burst into tears. “It’s over,” she said she told her brother. “We are finally here.”The euphoria was short-lived. Minutes later, border agents surrounded them. They were transported to a detention facility and separated. She has not seen nor spoken to her brother since, she said. Her mother told her that he was taken to a facility in Texas, where he remains.

Ms. Ghasemzadeh said she repeatedly told the authorities that she was a Christian convert from Iran seeking asylum. The Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman said that “not a single one of these aliens asserted fear of returning to their home country at any point during processing or custody.” Ms. Ghasemzadeh said that she was never interviewed about her asylum claim.

She was never given the opportunity to request asylum and the Islamic Republic of Iran isn't exactly hospitable to Iranians who convert from Islam to Christianity. In that theocracy it's a crime potentially punishable by death. Surprised about your lack of sympathy for her since I thought that you are in a serious Christian.

Let’s be clear here, you like most of the rest of us, won the genetic lottery and grew up in a relative utopia. There’s nothing special about you, whether by your innate nature or achievement, that makes you more entitled to it than any immigrant. Despite being born on third base you’re straight up disdainful of people trying to better their lives. Real piece of work - I’ll leave the commentary on your extraordinarily hypocritical theology for another time.

Most of our forefathers came here when the only entry requirement was the ability to get here. Difficult, certainly, but not unlike those leaving their dire circumstances and traveling thousands of miles across desert and dangerous territory to end up on our border.

As a nation our large-scale immigration restrictions first came in place by focusing on Chinese and non-white countries after our borders were open for a hundred years (and the content 400 years) while simultaneously giving preference to white Europeans with quotas. I can tell you’re fully onboard with that policy. As you said, you don’t even care if they’re here legally under asylum laws.

People who voted for a felon care about the law?

    Fascinating.

Except she didn't. She stated that she was seeking asylum, which is legal. What you mean is that you don't like her.
