By: Denver Parler -- March 10, 2025 Florida men's basketball sophomore forward/center Alex Condon has been named Southeastern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for a third time this season, the SEC announced on Monday. Condon is the second Gator all-time to earn the honor three times in a season, joining Jalen Hudson in 2017-18. He scored a career-high 27 points to go with 10 rebounds and two blocked shots in the Gators' win at Alabama on Wednesday. With that performance, he became the first SEC player this century and the fifth nationally to post those numbers in a top-10 road win. Going to be difficult to keep him another year if he keeps putting up these numbers, but congrats to him. Hope he carries it into the postseason, we're gonna need him at his best
IF AC helps the gators to at least a final four (hopefully a natty) and he earns a first round draft pick, can’t blame the kid for going. It’s what he came here for. But should they fall short, and our NIL people will take care of him, hopefully he would come back for the ‘unfinished business’. CTG has our program back where it belongs !
