Hot Damn. For the second time this season, I get to watch double header baseball then go to basketball. That's 10 am to 10 pm or later midnight. That's tough on an old man. Thank goodness I'm not there yet. Also had a single baseball with basketball nightcap and a bourbon with water nightcap once home. Harvard felt at home tonight. Temp 58 degrees a game's end. They kept warm by swinging hard and missing.
Really excited to watch King pitch. Hoping Jake is good for game 2. Keeping fingers crossed on Pierce. His velo two weeks ago worried me and then again last week. Heard blisters but that’s not it if seeking second opinion.
Could be playing 2 tomorrow. Due to incoming inclement weather, the start of today's doubleheader has been delayed. Additional updates will be provided as soon as they become available. #GoGators
Raining steadily at my house about 4 miles NW of ballpark and radar projections suggest another two hours... and then possibly more light rain later in afternoon

Sitting on the couch with my dog and a homemade chicken pizza, waiting for a double header that may not happen?
He's one of those Pauley's from Pacific Palisades and a double legacy. Graduated in top 10 percent of class … Dean’s List student … Interested in robotics, model rocketry, and surfing … Son of Joanne and Matthew Pauley … Maternal grandfather William K. Doyle graduated from Harvard Business School in 1972 and maternal great grandfather Paul K. Doyle graduated from Harvard in 1938, playing baseball for the Crimson from 1937-38.
Tarp is coming off, but no announced start time yet. Good thing, I think they were about to run out of rain songs.
Wonder if you hold king for the second game that might not have a delay instead for running him out for two or three and then having to shut him down with another rain delay. Also I heard no Jake today, Jenkins is the other starter and then staff.
