It's funny how they crucify some girls but others you can't say anything about. It was a line up change suggestion..not a big deal. The guy is just making a valid point.

That's why I don't post often. Can't disagree with anything they say and they swear they are "professionals" that know sooo much about the program and each kid. Just strange. But I do love some of the info from other posters and play by play is nice.

 

You can post whatever you want (within the rules). Everyone else is free to post what they want about your posts though. Some of you seem to just want to be able to say whatever you want and don't think anyone else should be able to have any say in the matter. You can critique the players, coaches, boosters, fans, forum members, whoever you'd like, but we're free to critique your posts too, or other players, coaches, boosters, fans, and forum members.

Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has an one, and they all smell like shit. That goes as much for my opinions as it does for yours.

Once again...from my tiny phone screen while at baseball it looked like Red was getting a lot of outside strikes particularly vs lefties but that call disappeared around the 5th when we tied it at 2...did I see that correctly or was it called the same the whole game?
She did great. I can't imagine even with Keagan that it would have been much different. I hope they are ready to take one tomorrow because Kennedy will go again Sunday and we didn't get her like we did last year.

 

I'm an asshole. My posts get deleted as much as anyone elses, but don't think I've ever been banned or thread blocked. If you're losing privileges and getting banned, you're either going way over the line and you know it, or you simply don't know when to walk away.

 

I saw that too! Honestly left side of field hurts us at times. Korbie did not know where to throw the ball and kenleigh throwing the ball clear into right field was bad. Hold the runner at 3rd, get an out and i believe reagan was up!

 

Not even close...apparently just a moderator that is really sensitive about criticism of their favorites on their favorite sport. I have actually seen worse criticism in today's thread than what got me banned for 2 weeks.

 

I've had plenty of stuff deleted that I don't think broke any rules. Even had posts deleted where the post I responded to blatantly broke rules and was left up. The mods are human and get in moods. I see posts deleted all the time that don't seem all that bad, but most folks I've seen getting banned or thread banned seemed to deserve it. If you get a few posts deleted and keep going, you're gonna get banned. I seriously doubt you got banned for making a single comment that wasn't that bad. I don't know what mod considers softball their favorite sport either if you were banned from a softball thread.

 

I'm glad I went in another room and watched TV with my wife after the game was over so I didn't caught up in the back & forth after the game.

I only got to see the first 2 innings but att the time red was nailing tat outside corner... I wouldn't doubt it went away late in the game. We've seen it happen before but again I wasn't watching.

 

Yeah, but to be fair, Red walked 4, their pitcher walked 6. So it's not like the calls were totally one-sided. We had plenty of chances to score several more runs, but just couldn't get the clutch hits. 0-10 with runners on base.

 

There was definitely an inconsistency in calls from early to late game. Red pitched beyond my hopes for her first SEC game (Away). The loss is on the offense and a few defensive plays. A few of the players need to take their walks when the pitcher gives little to hit (Jocey worked her opportunities well in this regard). Seeing too many mis-hit balls, with runners in scoring position. All the players want to make the big shot with runners on, but if you’re served nothing to solidly hit, then take your base and put the pressure on the pitcher. Despite losing the first game, I’m excited with this team and what it will accomplish. Go Gators!

Yep - As important as Keagan Rothrock is, This is a TEAM in every sense of the word. They are still great without her, even better with her.
