This is certainly a legitimate use of time and money:

It's a story as old as time. An invading horde will always seek to destroy the history and culture of the newly conquered people. This is strandard practice. I don't know why there would be outrage.

No shit. It's my belief that Peter Pan is basically non-fiction compared to The Terminator/The Matrix. Yeah, sure, they'll take over the world. . . and then someone will spill a Coke. . . . And, BOOM!, it all comes crashing down.

 

Women and persons of color fought so hard just to join the military, and serve their country, and now they're being erased on the orders of two viciously vindictive white men. Not content with the present subordination of non-white persons, they must reach into the past, and wipe them from existence.

This is the action of a diseased mind.

 

Roughly 30% of our military are either women and/or persons of color. It’s a large segment maga is targeting.

Hegseth is a fraud. He restored the name “Ft. Bragg”, albeit a different Bragg. And he restored “Ft. Benning”, albeit a different Benning. Too cute by half.

 

It's it also disrespectful to use the American flag as a pocket square? Your literally putting it in your pocket and covering up 3/4 or more of it.

 

So the only war vets worth honoring are white males? Pathetic.

One thing that I found completely confounding was when they changed the former Ft Benning (which was Ft. Moore, named after the dude in the Mel Gibson Vietnam movie), back to Ft. Benning, because they found a random guy who won a medal with the same name. Like not even a Ft Liberty thing where it was a generic name. They were so determined to name it back to Benning they took off the name of a more contemporary guy for an even more obscure person. Total brainworms with these people. The lack the courage of their conviction to go back to the Confederate stuff they cherish, but also just cant stand that it was changed either. Completely baffling.

 

These are not the actions of honorable men.
