Gators (23-1) take on the Houston Cougars (14-5) on Wednesday, March 5,2025 at 7 pm Televised on ESPN + Go Gators!
Houston is a very good hitting team. Team BA is .310, with 1 player hitting .400, another .393 and 5 more at .300 or better. Team on-base % is .455. But pitching is their problem. They've used 8 pitchers this year and don't seem to have a go-to. Team ERA is 4.77, BA against is .297. Gators should be able to score a bunch of runs of them. I just want our pitching to be solid and wonder who will start in the circle.

So who starts tonight? I'm thinking Red. She needs some innings but I'm sure they are still cautious on the pitch count and giving her rest. She can throw tonight and then come back Saturday.
May depend on if they expect Rothrock to be available this weekend. If yes then I would start Ava....also this trip is a bit of a homecoming for her so they likely will try and get her work where they can
