Got to lose the wide-eyed look and get the lead out.

Is there any reliable/accurate information about Coppola’s injury status available?

Who are the leaders? That may be a problem.

If it’s not TJ, we’ll probably never know unless one of our members walks down and asks Pierce directly.

Awfully quiet, but must be obviously more than a blister. He’s pure snake bit.

You would think Colby, Luke H., or Ty Evan’s would be, but I have no idea!! This is something that needs to be established!

Pitching is 50% physical and 50% mental. Our pitchers had to switch to a positive mode. Just like a food truck that moves into a brick and mortar building, their success depends on LOCATION...LOCATION...LOCATION!
I look for King to move into the weekend rotation.

Maybe these breezy conditions will blow the stench off our play as late. Come on Gators!

It’s been my experience as a player and as a coach you can appoint team “captains” but leaders step up and lead/drive on their own initiative. It’s as simple as that.

I don't really see it this year, but that doesn't mean it's not there. I'm not in the dugout, and leaders can lead in lots of ways.

Yogi Berra said baseball is 90% mental, the other half physical. He also said that "All pitchers are crybabies."

He might have been a bit of a meathead. Maybe the greatest meathead philosopher of all time, but a meathead none the less.

Actually, he was smarter than many knew. His quote, "when you come to a fork in the road, take it" was true. It was the directions to his house. A driver could take either left or right and it would lead around a circle to his house. Many of the funny ones, he never said. Watch the Netflix series on him and you discover another guy beyond the comic character of Yogi Bear, which by the way, distracted from his actual success on the field.

He was in the Navy in WWII and was on a rocket boat (off shore firing at German bunkers) and was wounded but refused the Purple Heart.

Another little brother will be bringin' it tonight in FAU. We need to realize everyone of these Florida teams are going to give it their best shot against us. The body language has been not great lately on the mound. Even with our Sunday starter, it got away with him fast. You can't let one walk turn into three and then a huge inning. I agree with the poster that it is a mindset that is yet to show in these young hurlers. Confidence goes a long way, but if you are doubting your stuff before you throw it, you can expect a long night. As far as our offense, we also need to score more than 3 runs with these guys. Run support can breed that confidence...you hope. Come on Gators, Get up and GO!
