Trump threatens to cut funding, imprison, expel, and deport college students for protesting

Isn't that kind of what they're saying though? Everyone in MAGA insists the lower was a legal, legitimate and peaceful protest and that the people in the above picture deserve punishment, and we have everything from expulsion to deportation on the table from our resident MAGA cultists. . . .

We have criminal statutes to handle this - this is not a matter for universities. Telling universities they need to police this is asinine and backwards. The administration is threatening to pull funding from universities if some students protest without a permit? That’s ridiculous.

 

I get it, but it is just an oversimplification.
The truth is all illegal protests should be stopped. These people shutting down roads that people need to make their living, or violence are examples...and yes violently trespassing in the US capitol as well.

I already think Jan 6 was an illegal protest, so the response didnt really clear that up for me as we are discussing future protests
