In case you missed it . . . By: Eric Fawcett -- March 2, 2025 With the SEC regular season coming to a close the Florida Gators will head to Tuscaloosa for one of the most difficult games on their schedule–a date with the Alabama Crimson Tide. This game has massive implications for both SEC standings as well as NCAA Tournament seeding so look for both teams to come out playing inspired basketball. Currently the Gators sit at 25-4 on the season and 12-4 in the SEC while Alabama is 23-6 on the year and, you guessed it–12-4 in the SEC. Florida Versus Alabama Basketball Preview | GatorCountry.com
That Twitter recap above reminded me of two plays Condon made in the second half (both in the video.) On the first, he turns the corner on a dribble and stuffs it. Good ball handling. The second, he pump fakes, gets his guy in the air, goes hard to the basket, launches from 8 feet out, and stuffs it. Both of those make me think he (and Haugh) could both be sneaky good ball handlers next year. I've been hoping for a 3 point jump, which they are doing. But what about beating a slower big?
There is a good chance we will be playing Alabama on March 15th as well. It will be interesting to see how these two teams match up this year.
