It's pretty incredible that with all of the injuries, low scores and 3 defeats that we're still ranked #4. Just shows the level of talent this team still has.
Make sure you have your Watch ESPN App ready to go for the next two Friday nights. SEC gymnastics television schedule: Schedule - Gymnastics - Southeastern Conference The SEC Network will be televising the women's basketball tournament this week followed by the men's basketball tournament next week. There will be a televised meet on Sunday. Auburn is at Missouri at 1 PM ET on the SEC Network. The following Sunday, Alabama is at Michigan. However, that meet is on B1G+ which requires you to pay for a poorly televised transmission.
Well, we got our answer today. Leanne Wong is the SEC Gymnast of the Week: Wong and Nguyen Earn SEC Weekly Awards - Florida Gators Victoria Nguyen received the co-SEC Specialist of the Week award along with Oklahoma's Elle Mueller. As expected, Kailin Chio received the SEC Freshman of the Week award. GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A pair of Gators – Victoria Nguyen and Leanne Wong - earn weekly Southeastern Conference gymnastics honors after their performance in Florida's win versus then No. 8 Missouri. Wong claims her third SEC Gymnast of the Week of the season after posting the nation's top all-around total of the weekend (39.75). It is the seventh SEC Gymnast of the Week honor of Wong's career. Nguyen earns her first SEC Specialist of the Week award after posting a near-perfect 9.975 in her 2025 vault debut. She shares the weekly honor with Oklahoma's Elle Mueller. The SEC Freshman of the Week went to LSU's Kailin Chio. This season, five different Gators have claimed SEC Weekly Awards – Sloane Blakely (Week 7 SEC Specialist) Danie Ferris (Week 2 Specialist), Selena Harris-Miranda (Week 4 & 7 Gymnast), Nguyen (Week 9 Specialist) and Wong (Week 2, 7 & 9 Gymnast). Edit: Feel for Selena Harris-Miranda as she scored the only 10 on vault in the country and also had a tie for the second highest score at 39.725 which garners her zero awards this week in the SEC or nationally.
Road to Gameday: Good shot of Skye working on beam. Red called Selena's 10 on vault before it happened. Edit to add full Road to Gameday:

The meet starts at 8 p.m. ET in the Coleman Coliseum How to Follow the Gators: Follow the action live: Watch: SEC Network + action called by Casey Roehl and Luisa Blanco Live Stats: Virtius Tickets: $8 - $15
Don't like it that the meet can't be recorded for later viewing like it could be if it was on an ESPN channel or the regular SECN. With baseball, softball and gymnastics ALL on SEC+, I only have 2 screens for viewing - a big screen TV and my PC monitor. Hopefully the baseball game will be a blowout by 8 pm, so I can switch to gymnastics. Softball will be on my big screen tonight, though. Go Gators!
Sometimes you can watch after the meet on demand, but that is hit and miss with the Watch ESPN app. No DVR is a pain as I sometimes like to score parts of the meet. Watching UF baseball pound on Harvard will have to wait for Saturday presuming it doesn't interfere with Ole Miss at Florida men's basketball. I'll watch close to an hour of softball, but since it is a 3-game series, I won't miss the only opportunity to see UF gymnastics this week.
Going to be difficult for me ..while I love all Gator sports..WBB, softball, baseball and gymnastics..gymnastics is my favorite among those listed..suppose to pbp for WBB and softball...but...hopefully other softball fans will help out if I fall behind..cause gymnastics will be on my big screen
Yep - I have YouTubeTV, so any games on any of the ESPN channels or SECN I can just add to the library and watch when I want. For SEC+ I have to go through the ESPN app, with no ability to record for later. Choice & decisions. Saturday's baseball game is at 3 pm, softball is at 5 pm and men's basketball is at 6 pm. With Men's BB it's on the regular SECN so I'll add it to my YouTubeTV library and watch it from the beginning once the softball game is over.
