Biden insider exposes how White House 'gaslit' the public about former president's decline

My dad is much older than Biden but has been going through cognitive decline for a couple of years or more but he is stubborn, denied it and wouldn’t let us help in certain ways that hasn’t left him in the best position and has us doing some stuff now that ideally we wouldn’t need to. While this has been going on it was painful to see it happening with Biden.

However I did not realize how bad it was with Biden until the debate.

 

My point is that the right’s obsession with Biden to justify Trump is akin to the left being obsessed with Bush. Trump is a disaster and they’ve got nothing to brag about.

 

I'm in the early stages myself. Everybody has these issues from time to time but with me it is a constant battle. I will be in the kitchen and think "I need to check my email" then I will walk over to my laptop sitting on the dining room table, sit down and can't remember what I opened my laptop for.

He just can’t help himself

 

I’m not sure what the difference is - I think it’s normal as you get older to become more forgetful - I’ll go get the mail and later in the day I can’t remember if I got the mail.

My mom is mostly normal but has short term memory issues, becoming more significant. Very different than dad who is starting to conflate different things in the past together and sometimes thinks he is in a different time and place, seemingly losing touch with reality.
