yep, total bailout call. his whole purpose was to draw a foul, that shouldn't be considered a basketball play - like when players kick out their legs on jumpshots just to draw a foul
Florida with 12 assists (4 turnovers), A&M with only 2 (8 turnovers). UF on a 35-18 run since A&M went up 16-10.
Rebounding even, points in the paint even. 10 fouls on us, 8 of them. Our bigs committed some dumb fouls. Reuben had 2 real early and he only played 3 minutes. That Payne guy for them is excellent and he's quicker than any of our bigs. They missed 6 free throws, which helps us a lot. The big difference I see is that we had 12 assists, they only had 2. Also, we only had 4 turnovers, they had 8. We're passing it really well and so far have been hitting a high percentage of open 3's. I wish we would go inside more, though, and take it to their bigs like they have been doing to ours. Clayton is only 1-6, but everybody else has shot it well. Aggies are a tough, hard-nosed team and we're going to have to match their intensity the 2nd half to get the win.
Texas A&M leads the nation in offensive rebounding. They get a lot of 2nd chance points and normally get in the 1-1 ealy in each half because they attack the basket so well and force the refs to make calls on physical plays at the rim. We've handled it better than most teams, but I give the Agggies credit for doing what they do.
