Liberals aren’t happy, unless they’re unhappy. It’s a strange thing.

Seems like we've gotten a pretty good bang for our bucks--#1 superpower, strongest currency, international influence--so yeah, I think the money's well spent. Very little, if any, is completely altruistic, anyway. Our country's foreign relations have always been transactional.

You are incorrect spouting nonsense. That quote is from the UN. Read the article or can you read? Are you arguing with an article from the UN? Or being a typical liberal ignoring facts?

So we hand China all the poorer countries to loot and we hand Russia whatever empire expansion they desire and we sell off our National Park lands, what could possibly go wrong?

What makes you think GOP congress would spend money on homelessness and mental healthcare.

We also kick out appx 9 million workers when our unemployment rate is appx 4% - implying somewhere around 7 million unemployed Americans.

Oh, but we need jobs returned to America. To be filled by ..... ??

You can’t read genius. Your lying ass headline says US gives 40% of ALL humanitarian aid. Your articles says something about what we give the UN for humanitarian aid.

There’s your quote. Ignore it if you wish like a liberal. Guess you can’t read.

The US Government is the largest single donor of aid in the world, disbursing around $72 billion in assistance during 2023. It also reportedly provided more than 40 per cent of all humanitarian aid accounted for by the UN during 2024.

    BINGO.
When Musk and his group dig in further they're going to expose a lot of USAID money came back on a round-trip ticket.
It may help explain exactly how these legislators became wealthy well beyond their modest salaries.

Don’t forget that 37 trillion dollar debt that someone is eventually going to have to reduce. Saving the world does no one any good if the US goes bankrupt in the process.

Trump is not stopping anyone from donating to whatever charity they want. Americans are free to do what they want with their "after tax" dollars.
Trump is restricting the taxpayer borrowed funds, on which we pay interest, from being spent willy nilly.

The airline instructions are "Put your mask on first..." If our economy collapses due to stratospheric debt there will be many, many more deaths as there will be NO humanitarian aid going overseas. That, and likely a major war for the heck of it. Pick your poison - which would you choose: Pay me now or pay me later (w/ interest)?

By the time Trump's done, we'll still have the deficit. What we won't have is friends, allies, or trading partners.

Wrong. They will be begging for money if and when the next Democrat is elected. They are never going away.

How much do you want to bet that our deficit will increase more under T2 than it did under Biden?
