I'm not a contrarian, I'm extremely consistent in what I post. If we were on a board full of leftist anti-capitalist/anti-imperialists I'd look a conformist stooge. Board needs more diversity, sorry.

I raised my daughter to be a strong independent woman. She is badass and so is my son. She has said a million times being an RN and doctorate student in a cancer hospital sucks. She does the Lord's work but she would much rather be on 20 acres raising a family.

And agree, if the situation and finances allow it, staying home and raising a family is also a significant and exceptional vocation.

 

I'm not a Republican, but I have to say, barefoot is a very good start.
