C'mon, the border wasn't the only thing conservatives blamed Biden for lol. We had posters on here complaining about bad service at restaurants because "no one wanted to work" because of Bidens policies. That level of stuff. City is just giving it back.

 

The entire way pilots and ATC communicate needs to change. Trying to coordinate directions over a static ridden comms system where your id is a number just asks for trouble. It was acceptable 40 years ago when air traffic wasn't as busy as it is today and technology was limited.

There are a lot of mistakes the press doesn't report. There are several incidents here in Florida that could have ended up in massive death the last few years. It is not safe to fly.

 

So, is it more comms related or logistical? I'm guessing both, but would enjoy hearing more about it from your perspective. I started my work career right at 40 years ago with MCI. At that time, we were providing point-to-point and multi-point analog circuits for the FAA around the country as an alternative to AT&T. Those circuits always took the highest priority when there was an outage. I know the networks have been upgraded to some degree over the years, but would they be considered outdated based on current technology?

 

Question: if you take the DC crash out of the equation … are we merely left with Streisand Effect ?

As “looney town” as it seems that’s exactly what people like bill, Rick, flg, egator, 5151, etc were doing the past four years. Sitting somewhere in the middle I wish it would stop both ways as it was exhausting seeing this crap from anti-Biden people last term. Now we have to deal with it coming the other way.
