it is hard to watch and people to understand we have maybe 4 real SEC calibre players...that was just awful to watch

 

Yeah maybe one of these day we will have a competitive women's basketball team. I like Kelly Ray and hope she can turn it around.

 

Disappointed in this game and the year ingeneral. I thought Finley was the answer to the Women's BB program, but am now having doubts. More talent this year than we've had in a long time, but the results are mediocre at best. Maybe next year will prove me wrong, but now I'm no longer optimistic.

I would beg to differ, we have some top tier talent..but we didnt have depth of talent..I am ready for the year to be done honestly. We didnt grow or get better at anything as the year went along. We looked distractly most games. KRF needs to do a heavy evaluation and we need shooters badly. I talked to big fan of SC today and she watches all of our games, she played college ball and we were her 2nd choice after SC some years back. Anyways she told me today no one respected our shooters this year. Last year we had Matharu and LC who both of them could get hot at any time. This year we got no respect and most games it worked well against us. You can sit that in the defenses teams play against us. Plus we are just not physical, Kyle was the exception. We were built to run and shoot and we didnt have the girls to pull it off. Except Kyle of course...sad part is should could score well, or can..but again do have shooters around to giver her proper spacing. Not sure KRF can turn this around, but she has one more year unless I said before she decided to concentrate on being a mom
