Mount McKinley was the norm for the highest peak in the U.S., for decades, until Obama changed it. Now it has it's rightful name again.

“Rightful.” That’s moronic. The rightful name is Denali. It was called Denali for centuries by Athabascans until a random prospector called it McKinley after a President that had never been to Alaska, much less the mountain, and didn’t do anything noteworthy for the territory. It was officially renamed to McKinley in 1917 by the federal government, the state passed a law in 1975 calling it Denali (you're a state rights advocate, yes?), and the Federal Government renamed the park to Denali in 1980. Obama corrected the mountain’s official name because Congress wasn’t doing their job.

25 states carry native American names, along with countless place names. Are we going to maga-size those too? If anything, the native names for other places should be restored. e.g. Mt. Whitney is Toomangoyah. These places had names way before Europeans showed up.
