Did Rachel Madow just call her own network racist?

Yeah, I recall when Reid was allegedly caught lying years ago about a bunch of homophobic posts, and her explanations didn't make sense to me at the time. That wasn't a good introduction. In any event, I did try to watch her show periodically over the years and never found it engaging.

like I said it’s been years since I’ve watched the network but when I did on occasion in spite of her clear bias she at times would bring about something unique and informative. An example was the podcast about Father Flanagan during WWII era.

Most of the other shows were here’s an outrageous thing that is happening, and now we are going to talk to a Democratic lawmaker about it.

She is basically the used car salesman that says I have a 2001 Corolla with a nifty pine tree air freshener to sell you. The air freshener is brand new. And that is all true. He researched it.

But what he failed to tell you is the engine leaks 2 quarts a day and the brakes are your feet through the rusted floor (Fred Flintstone style.)

It isnt the stuff she tells you on the air. It's the stuff she ignored.

This thread is a perfect example. She calls her own network racist while ignoring the actual business reasons for why they are doing it.

Pushing an agenda with only the facts you choose to push is not "journalism" at all.

REAL Journalists approach a story with a blank slate and no bias and uncover and report the whole truth.

The MSM networks have all sold their souls for ad rev. (CNN too, but they are the best of the three imho)

Period. End of story. Any other view is simply having ones head in the sand.

I think she is preemptively planning her exit.
When they cut her loose soon, she will blame it on this. She will say they fired her for speaking out against their "racist" motives. She will probably try and be a martyr and then sign a big deal with SiriusXM and finally spew her nonsense unfiltered.

People who spend an enormous amount of energy trashing left leaning media and journalists but are silent on right wing media and podcasters without a journalism degree…

This is a non response. No one here is defending Fox, hack most of us are trashing them too generally.

And those journalism degrees were often in courses teaching actual journalism. Them straying from that isnt something we have to ignore just because they got the degree.

Nor do you have to have a journalism degree to recognize bad/lazy/biased "journalism"...
I never played QB in the NFL, but i know Jameis sucks at it and I can say so with confidence.
