There's a reason Duke kicked us out of the #2 spot, they are just far better than we are in almost every phase. They are showing no weaknesses and it's why they are #1 in all 3 major computer polls. We are probably the weakest of the 1 seeds considering we are a solid 5th in every one of the computer models. Really are more a solid 2 seed. To get back into the 1 seeds, we need to win out, and at least make it to the SEC title game. Very tall order, considering Bama won't take us lightly given what we did at Auburn. My son said they are ready for us now, been preparing for that matchup on Wednesday since the Auburn game. I really thought after that win on the road against Auburn, we figured out how to play just as good on the road as at home, like Duke. Duke leads the nation in Quad 1 road games at 9.

Actually Billy forced them to figure it out a lot instead of calling a TO. Even he said that in interviews

It's one thing to lose to Missouri at home. That was tough. But to lose to a team that lost its last 4 SEC games and is at the bottom of the league in so many different categories is a tough pill to swallow.

I hope the staff uses this as a teaching lesson for the players to realize how fragile their status really is. They may be a top-ten team on paper, but unless they go out and play like it for 40 minutes, they can be beaten by sub-40 ranked programs.

Someone on the staff or Richard himself woke up and he started playing ball. Had he done that in the first 10 minutes, we would have beaten Georgia by 15. We hit one more 3, 4 fewer free throws (but missed 11), and two fewer 2s.

Yeah. Somehow the team collectively took UGA for granted.

It was a rare night where both had off nights, but what was crazy is that Golden did not turn Richard on earlier, give Aberdeen more minutes (even though he had a piss-poor night also) or even Klavzar.

Sometimes head coaches need to learn as much about themselves / coaching from a loss as players do about themselves / playing.

He still dribbling when this guy starts counting four steps. At most three, but hard to tell from that angle, and depends on how you interpret when he picks up the ball. Looked awkward as hell and like a travel in real time, but frame by frame I’m not sure.

There was a much more obvious travel at the top of the arc a little later in the game, when we were on our furious comeback. Haugh was guarding the ball handler and called it out to the ref and was incredulous that it wasn’t called. Should have been a turnover back to the Gators.
