Apparently the 1st Amendment has nothing to do with free speech. The List of Trump's Forbidden Words That Will Get Your Paper Flagged at NSF
From the original linked article some of the words. And nowhere is that effort more bizarre than the National Science Foundation, which is currently combing through websites and research papers for a long list of words that include “female,” “disability,” and “LGBT,” among a host of others.
Again, this isn’t just happening at NSF. As Gizmodo reported last week, CDC is also purging its websites and reports of forbidden words. All of this is happening while billionaire Elon Musk, an unelected representative of Trump’s government, is ransacking his way through the federal bureaucracy, gaining access to highly sensitive data with basically no one to stop him. It’s still not clear what happens on the other side of all this. But when they’re flagging words like “women” and “trauma,” less than three weeks in, it can’t be good. so they are using AI to rewrite the history to remove these words?
female,” “disability,” and “LGBT, plus climate change and many more. ( resists urge to copy it 50 times on here)
Sounds kinda dictatorship to me. Lol @ being scared of words, that's really tackling the real problems in the country.
Actually Trump is a master of hyperbole. When he speaks about his plans he says words like most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen, or I’m a stable genius. But when he talks about his opponents he uses term like total disaster, weak, or not very bright. Things like that stick with people. George Lakoff wrote a book called “Don’t Think of An Elephant” where he describes how saying certain words stick with people, and why some don’t. He offered to help Democrats with their messaging during Bush’s first term but for some reason they enjoyed losing because they declined.
