yes the good and bad thing about the tournament is there's no tomorrow if we lose

we do need to work on our free throw shooting, and attacking the basket more. Hopefully Condo and Hawk will be back to their old selves next game

yes that was ugly too, but UK has lit it up at times this year, especially at home. This Georgia team is average at best on offense and we made them look like Duke

    UK shot 57.8% 2FG and 48.3% 3FG
    UGA shot 53.8% 2FG and 55.5% 3FG
Both pretty damn horrible defensive performances. Hope we don't see any thing like that again

RIP to aTm on Saturday. Any chance they had is gone. I expect a dominant win Saturday night

Eh. I don't think it's that's bad. We weren't ever going to beat them 100 in a row.

I can't be so down on this game or team. We barely lost and are 24-4. I'll take it.

So many of the tournament games come down to point guard play in crunch time and free throw shooting…two areas where we have questions.

Bad free throw shooting night. It's not our norm I don't think.

I disagree about PG. Even with a down game, Clayton is good. Without Clayton, we aren't 24-4. Nowhere close imo.

And didn't Mizzou shoot lights out too on our home court?

Yikes. That’s not a recipe for success. Probably not very likely to happen again either.

Clayton is definitely a good player…just not sure about him as a point guard.

This was a bad loss and will make us a 2 seed. There is such a love affair with Duke and Houston it makes me sick. I’m from the rural part of New England and was excited to hear about a kid from Maine just blowing up. I’m now over the infatuation and adulation the media has given this kid and the Dukies. I expect us to win two of our next three and do the same in the SEC tournament and be a two seed.

Yep, we definitely didn’t have our best foot forward, but Georgia hit 78% of their 3s in the first half. That is 7% better than their season free throw percentage. So some of their performance really just had to do with hitting shots.

Yeah that’s true, it was like shooting practice in the 1st half. I still can’t believe we got down by 25

He's not a pure PG. He's definitely a scoring PG. With that said, he's still pretty efficient. More efficient than people realize.

It sure felt like that, but their final shooting percentages were surprisingly pedestrian: 44/38/62. Still it has to be considered a bad game defensively.

We'll see. Still a lot in play. If we go 3-0, we'd be second in the SEC most likely. That's enough for a one seed imo. 27-4.

It's not a bad loss. A lot of games left to play. Now if we go 2-1 or less, it's most likely a 2 imo.

Seems like that one guy that really had a 2 not a 3 at the end of mizz game made a lot of 3s

It would be just like this team to lose to Georgia on the road but beat Alabama on the road. Again, not sure if we are better off a 1 seed or a 2 seed. I think it is between us and Alabama for that last 1 seed spot. Duke and Houston will easily win out the rest of their regular season. We lost any slim chance we had at a conference championship today, so the rest of the season until the tournament is in preparation of the tournament.
