When it's that close, just foul. Rather have them just try FTs. The three tanked us. The team and crowd was uptight and that made them believe and they took it from there.

 

By far our worst defensive performance of the year and with only 3 games left until the postseason. Plenty of film to watch but it was as much about EFFORT as anything else. This team should not go 54/56/82 on us. This ia a Mike White team and they light it up against us? Pathetic showing today

 

I want to know why we start off so slow ...we used so much energy trying to get back in the game...

Only thing that kept us in it is they turn the ball over a lot. But we hit our FTs at 75% or 80% and this is our game. Takes an all time horrible game from us and an all-time great shooting game from them to barely beat us at their place.

 

Exactly what Daymeon Fishback said when we played LSU last game.

We can lose to anyone in the Big Dance...one bad half is all it takes.

 

Aberdeen a complete non factor in this game. You can’t have your six man contributing two fouls and one turnover.

Didn't we have a game earlier in the year where Golden was like we have to stop coming out and getting behind right off the bat? I remember the next game we shot out to a big lead and won but we still struggle opening the game it seems.

 

MW was good for a huge upset once a year when he was here too.

 

Martin is not a great free throw shooter (73%). That is going to be an issue going forward. Shooting so poorly from the line really cost us tonight.

 

I would like us to play a full 40 minutes all out..

 

This was a wake up call. Teams will see this as a crack in our armor.

 

He was bad and so were all overall but our terrible defense is what killed us tonight. Their shooting stats were off the charts
