    Pub member of congress ready to be arrested for domestic violence but MAGA AG will not sign arrest warrant

    of course it has to be a florida man

    he admitted to getting physical with her, she has bruises consistent witht he assualt, she has a recording of him telling her to lie about the bruises

    and the AG will not sign the arrest warrant

    Police in Washington D.C. reportedly tried to arrest a Republican member of Congress for an alleged act of domestic violence, but U.S. Attorney Ed Martin is apparently not signing the arrest warrant.

    That's according to a Monday article by NBC 4 Washington, which reported that an arrest warrant for Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) was sent back to D.C. Metropolitan Police unsigned. According to the report, Martin – who is the Department of Justice's top prosecutor in D.C. — said the case merited "further investigation" after declining to sign the warrant.

    NBC 4 noted that in the police report, an unidentified 27 year-old woman who was not Mills' wife accused Mills of assaulting her at his apartment. The alleged victim said Mills "grabbed her, shoved her and pushed her out of the door" and showed responding officers bruises that officers on the scene described as "fresh."

    The alleged victim's police report also describes a phone call in which she "let officers hear [Mills] instruct her to lie about the origin of her bruises … Eventually, [Mills] made contact with police and admitted that the situation escalated from verbal to physical, but it was severe enough to create bruising." When officers encountered the alleged victim in the lobby of a nearby hotel, they noted that she was "shaking and scared."

    she has bruises on her and was visibly shaken

    he is on tape telling her to lie about the bruises

    that is the story. that story would get any other person arrested, especially a dem congressman

    the rest of the story will be told in court. that is how our system works for those not protected by a corrupted AG office

    for others, they pay the victim to go quiet and the AG swallows the whistle

    you think jet lag caused the bruising or made him tell her to lie about it?

    this reminds me of how urban protected a man who beat his wife and because they talked her out of foiling charges then it didn't happen..there is a reason that police are allowed to file charges without victim cooperation when there is sufficient underlying evidence, but you know that.

    and causes my abuser to call me and lie about it, but just the flights over 4 hours, for the shorter flights they just text me on how to lie about it

    Just reading what the lefts favorite fact checker Politico has to say about it, it sounds a little to me like the young lady might have been in his house causing trouble and he led her to the door by the arm. I have seen people who bruise easily bruise from such an action. I'm not saying that is what happened just that we don't really know the whole story.

    Politico is not a fact checker. They are a standard media source who are reporting the statements accurately. I think you are confusing them with Politifact, an organization that is not tied to them in any way.

    No one is asking him to be convicted, just charged and arrested so this can be evaluated by a jury. The DC Police think there is enough to charge him so why won’t the AG sign the arrest warrant unless he’s protecting political brethren?

    “Wednesday, I reached out to law enforcement to address a personal matter. Several factors influenced my decision to involve the authorities. I had just returned from a 14-hour flight, severely jet-lagged and sleep-deprived. Additionally, I had been drinking during my vacation and had a drink in front of me when the officers arrived, which contributed to my emotional state,” Raviani said.

    “Upon their arrival, they noticed some bruising and marks on my arms, which I explained were the result of medical conditions like eczema and activities from my recent trip to Dubai. While the personal matter in question was emotionally charged, there was no physical altercation.”

    Raviani went on: “Regrettably, the situation has since been misrepresented by reporters and led to relentless harassment from various sources. Words have been taken out of context, and my privacy is being disregarded. This is a deeply personal matter that is being unfairly exploited for political purposes or other motives.”

    It is unclear how Mills, an Iraq War veteran and former US Army sniper, became acquainted with Raviani or why the two were together at the time of the encounter.

    Women are property and should learn not to piss off men, especially ones they are having an affair with. Law and order plus family values. Something the Christian right can get behind.
