    Here is an excerpt

On Monday, DOGE posted its “wall of receipts” touting transparency, showing 1,127 contracts. But as the Journal and others raised questions about the figures, the tally of savings on DOGE’s website dwindled from $16 billion to about $7 billion.
Two contracts also disappeared from the site Thursday because DOGE counted the same $665 million USAID contract three times, the Journal found.
Even as DOGE edited the numbers, the total savings listed on its site remained overstated, experts told the Journal. Agency contract amounts are often akin to credit card limits, said Deniece Peterson, senior director of federal market analysis at Deltek.
“If I have a credit card with a $30,000 limit and I have a $2,000 balance and I cancel the credit card, I’m not saving $28,000,” she said. “What I’m seeing in many of these transactions is not savings.”

Musk is lying to you folks. We could also talk about the contract that they posted saying they save 8 billion but it was actually 8 million. We could also talk about the contracts that were stopped during the Biden administration yet DOGE is claiming they saved money. If Musk and Trump really cared about saving money then they would start with the federal audits that have already been completed by third parties.

DOGE needs to cut deeper. Momentum has been slowed by extremist Democrat judges who are trying to deny Trump his Constitutional powers under Article II.

but he now has all the data on his financial platform competitors when he went in and took all the data from CFPB. You know, the watchdog that regulates platforms like he is trying to launch..he just needed all the proprietary data from his competetion to work out the final details/structure..

smdh that think this is anything other than a big data hijack/theft of the IP of the US gubmnt

wonder how Apple Pay feels knowing that Musk has all their algorithms and data on how they operate, maybe all the other lending agencies are thrilled too

If DOGE really cared about efficiency they'd start with the 3rd party audits that are completed every year. Why waste money and time on something that's already been done?
