After our supper outing got a little extended I was happy to read the game thread last night and see that our Gators stayed on course with a well played aggressive game to start the weekend series off right.

Geez, have to wait till 4 to start a feast of Gator Sports viewing today.

 

Well, last night was an experience. A balmy 42 degrees with a mild 10-15 mph breeze. Gatorgal is to be commended for staying the course. Hope that hot toddy was good.
Today will be about 10-15 degrees warmer, only 55 for the low. Packing my sun screen.

 

Sorry I missed it, but what is the deal with Ty Evans, injury? Thanks.

He’s supposed to be dealing with a wrist issue but specifically what type and how severe I don’t know.

I talked to him back on Monday, he fully practiced, said he was fine just a strain in his wrist, negative x-rays. Apparently he jammed it sliding back into a bag in last Friday’s game. Sully said with the cold he held him out again last night but expect to see him this weekend. As to Kyle he said (sully) until Kyle and the doctor say he’s 100%, he’ll hold him out.

 

Evans is in the starting lineup today, which just posted. Batting 8th in RF.

 

I literally came to this thread to ask about Kyle Jones, so kudos to everyone for providing that information. I'm so thrilled that I'm doubling the salary everyone gets for posting on GatorCountry.
