Game ends on another fielder's choice force at 3rd. 9-1 Gators. Yeah, baby, yeah!!

 

Couple of nice plays at third to end the inning.

Solid win, but a bit disappointing that Rothrock had to come back in to close it out.

 

Tim told Brady Vernon with Softball America that Red will make her debut tomorrow

She clearly left early. Walton was standing about 2 feet away from her too.

 

Those two heads of a knuckle have the baseball/softball IQ as that of a bag of hair.

 

Well, I told MCB51 that I would add my PBP from Farrington. I reviewed O'man's radio PBP and it was pretty good. I don't know if I can add too much, but I am a man of my word. This will be in a sequence of posts due to the length.

 

Upon arrival at the park I caught Red warming up in the bullpen, so I stopped and watched her. When they stopped I asked if she was pitching today. She said "No, probably tomorrow." I said "It will be good to finally see you." She replied "Yeah it's about time."

I then took a seat behind the Gator dugout and talked to a couple of Gator and ASU fans. Then a lady and kid sat next to me. She was nice and apologized for crowding me (given the number of empty seats). We started talking and it turns out she was Terry Anea, Francesca's mom and Sage (I think) her grand daughter. She was very nice.

 

We were there. Holtdorf's E was a tough hop.

The scorer also removed the first ASU error (by their shortstop). Yeah, the sun was a factor. But she had it in her glove and just dropped it. It was an E all the way.
