I'm in. It is a great idea. We start a new gymnastics thread that coincides roughly with the start of the new school year in the fall term. It keeps each sports year in gymnastics compartmentalized so you don't have to search overly hard to find what you want historically.
Roster update... Ck and Boos have been removed from the coaching staff page on the website. Only Amber is still listed on staff. Curious to see who Theis brings in. Two of his assistants from Marquette have been removed from their website, so maybe he brings in them two.
2025 Volleyball Coaching Staff This ^ page has been updated. A little synergy would be nice. Volleyball Coaches - Florida Gators Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
My psychiatrist when I showed him the new thread: "See, I told you that you are smart, you are important, you are special...."
For those of you concerned with CRT not having time to know the players consider this. There is a spring practice, and before the transition, we were scheduled to play UCF at home, and go to Georgia Tech. I do not know if these games hold, but CRT will have time with the players this spring.
Thank you for the report. Ryan Theis facing Michelle Collier. Now that is a match that I wanna see!!!!!
These two assistants have been removed from the Marquette coaching roster. Ryan Walthall - Women's Volleyball Coach - Marquette University Athletics Abby Gilleland - Women's Volleyball Coach - Marquette University Athletics
I don’t have any knowledge of that. If you go to their volleyball roster, there are some good candidates.
I've done a little research on CRT's coaching philosophy and recruiting and I have a feeling that recruiting is the area he is going to make his biggest adjustment if he is going to compete against teams in the SEC. He has been very successful at Marquette with recruiting underrated players and improving their skills, but he will need to use current resources for getting higher rated players and refining their skills, he won't have time elevate players like he did at Marquette, IMO I think we have a similar situation to Dan Mullins in football coming from Mississippi State and recruiting.
Walthall resume looks vert respectable. I would not mind having him as an assistant ar all. I think players would respect someone with his playing credentials and especially given where he played and who he played for. Given those 2 assistants were already removed from the staff roster I imagine the odds are pretty high we will get one if not both of them. Just l8ke basketball, these small sports teams often take a majority of their staff with them and when that only means 2 people, makes it that much easier.
Interesting that Walthall while in college at Penn state was the serving specialist DS for 2 seasons before taking over the libby role...we sure could use some serving instructions
