I’m here and I’m not really feeling a special year this year. Compared to OU, we’re grossly inconsistent. We have ONE meet where we hit on all cylinders, otherwise pretty mediocre by our standards. Inconsistency breeds doubt. No confidence.
Sorry but if we have to rely on Sloane to be remotely competitive vs top 5 teams then we are toast. She was not reliable as an AA last year and now with 20 people on a roster we can't even find athletes that can stay on the apparatus.

Sick for the entire season except one meet? Regression. Soft. Throw that in with loyalty to athletes that don't produce and you get one of the worst seasons we have had in years. If you can't atleast score 49.4 in today's gymnastics then you will not be competing the final week of the season.
Why would the coach put a 16 year old in the anchor position on the bars. I don't care how good she is, that's too much pressure for a young lady that age, IMO. This team has way too much talent, even at #3, to be this sloppy. But from one of my favorite Waterboy scenes, "You can do it!"
