Excellent start, especially on the mound.

I need to bring this up to the Dugout Club Board as a possible addition for next year's Awards.
    Great name, too!

In case anyone else was wondering where their best player was tonight:

Great win, despite the lousy base running.

I wonder how long until someone starts selling Bar-bear-i #22 teddy bears. I'd buy one...

I have a pretty good seat to view the pitches and have a couple of comments.

Seemed like the home plate blue had a pitcher friendly outside corner but took away the inside corner. Very consistent all night with pitches in and out and up and down. Just what everybody wants from the guy calling balls and strikes. Good job.

I can't remember which AF hitter got three straight sliders for a K but the last one was hung over the middle of the plate. Peterson got away with that one. Maybe the book was that this guy couldn't hit a slider with a paddle.

Very impressive opener as the pitching looks great and we had some timely hitting.
Donay looks even more spread out and balanced.

    Kurland healthy- lookout!!

Cyr-Boser-Jones were great pickups!! Loved the 3 hole hitter putting down a perfect bunt.
    Shelton’s swing looked good.

    Liam was filthy!!

Barbieri gonna be a good one!!

    Go Gators!!!

Air Force hasn't been able to even practice outside yet, so we shouldn't get carried away. But still and impressive openeing night all the way around.

I only got to listen to Jeff call the top of the 9th and then Sully's comments. Sully was bothered by baserunning mistakes--so evidently @wingtee had a chat with him at some point LOL

It sounds like a nice start, not perfect but nice, on the way to Omaha. BTW, the series June 13 to June 23 (that is IF we need the IF game) this year.

I completely agree with your sentiment @iowagator — but I think our team will fare much better one game one week at the time.

PS June should get here soon enough, let’s be ready!

I agree in many ways--but Florida fans need to be like Texas, Miss St, and the corndogs--always in Omaha!! Even if there team isn't there :)

Who else got a parking ticket for parking along the roadside of Surge area road? Every car I saw had a ticket on the windshield. I’ve parked there many times and never had an issue, where else are we supposed to park when the lots are full? It must have taken hours to write all those tickets! There arent any No Parking signs anywhere there.

I had to leave between games 1 and 2 today and saw a lot of tickets on cars parked on the grass or otherwise outside the painted parking places when walking back to my car.

Today there was a baseball, softball and lacrosse game at the same time. Great planning.
