Really impressed by the offensive showing (minus a few swings) against Curd. Mizzou did win against Duke 10-3 but Curd was so good against them as she only gave up 1 run. Duke HC for some reason took her out in the 6th up 3-1 and that is where mizzou was able to stack up its runs against the other pithcers.
Otis has been a bit cold to start the season. A lot of easy outs and strikeouts that we didn’t see much of at all last year. Just wait until she gets hot. This offense has the potential to be even better.

It’s so great to see our hitters swinging so freely on the first pitch if it’s a good pitch to hit. I remember the years when nobody would even consider swinging until they were already down 2 strikes.
