Prices were never going to come down ... That was always a lie... Inflation increases means price increases are accelerating faster...

Coincides with the Trump election timing. Markets have been bracing and pricing in Trump nonsense since the day he was elected. You know how I know?

Retailers getting out in front of Trump's inflationary policies since the election. Guy says he's going to enact huge tariffs on everyone, better start raising prices now.

Wait? I didn't hear Trump promise to lower grocery prices on day 1? Or did he say it, and you just didn't listen? Which is it?

Of course Trump was never going to lower prices. Tariffs and immigrant labor shortages both raise prices. It's not even Econ 101, but high school level economics. And you don't need a PhD in Econ and/or win a Nobel Prize in Economics to figure this stuff out. But again, 23 guys who have those credentials all warned of a Trump inflation bomb because of tariffs and immigrant labor shortages.

Unreal how incompetent Trump spooked the markets.

At least he's really really smart and knows that times of rising inflation are when we should cut interest rates.

And the voters felt the pain even though the Biden administration was telling them the opposite. Don't look now; even Politico is putting out a non-positive piece on our past administration.

Gonna need some deficit spending, and tax cuts for the rich to fix this?

You need to buy some clues as you are clueless per normal. Hung your hat on those Nobel Prize economists when I told you so on this too that they are worthless bought and paid for garbage just like the 50 national security experts who maintained for the election that there was nothing to the Hunter Biden laptop except Russia, Russia, Russia. Grow up.

It took 4 years for Biden to eff up the economy along with everything else in the US and then he turned his federal government minions loose to plan to and sabotage Trump on day 1. The good news is Trump is accomplishing plenty and you know it all in 4 short weeks.

Lies? Again, it isn't Trump..........We won, you lost, promises made and promises kept.

BTW, Gaza the shining star of the Middle East at least is getting people talking about breaking the same ole, same ole trends you love so much even at the possible destruction of Israel. Has to gall you that Netanyahu, the very popular Netanyahu in Israel, called President Trump the best friend in the White House that Israel ever has had. It's true too. Suck on that too over the next 4 years.

58% of Isralies rate Netanyahu as unfavorable. Only in magic MAGA land does that make someone uber popular!

As for the rest of your drivel, how long can you and MAGA blame Biden before the buck finally stops at Trump's desk? And yes or no, Trump promised lower grocery prices from day 1?

Yes, Donny won. Congrats. We'll see how happy the country is six months from now. I'm not a gambling man, but I'd wager 3% inflation is going to be Trump's low water mark, and for the people, who care about the economy, won't be happy at all.

    This is from February 2021:
A new poll finds that Biden’s approval rating is 61 percent, the highest rating a president has received since 2009.
In September 2021 Biden's approval rating went underwater i.e more Americans disapproved of his performance than approved of him and it stayed that way for the rest of his 4-year term. I expect Trump's approval to follow a similar trajectory.
