This win was almost as impressive as the Auburn win given how short-handed we were and how desperate MSU was for a win. Denzel was fantastic locking down Hubbard and had a great second half.

 

Chins, too. He hesitates and lets the D time to converge, gets fouled and makes 1 of 2 FTs if we’re lucky.

I must give props to Aberdeen. Before the game someone asked who is better to defend Hubbard. I went with Martin because of how he moves his feet and controls his body. Credit Aberdeen for ballin' the D tonight. He contained Hubbard for the first 30 minutes by not allowing him to go right and getting a hand up on every shot. Later on Klavzar gave up a few 3 pointers and Hubbard found his touch but the game was already out of hand. Here Here to Denzel for his great D tonight!!

Coach Golden tells Sean Kelley Condon has a low ankle spring and should be back "soon." So non-committed on his return date but he did claim it was in fact a dirty play not called by the refs....

 

Thankful that this was a Tuesday game so we have 1 extra day to heal up and its an 8 30 game at home with that. Looking for Martin hopefully back this Saturday and wait and see when Condo can return.
