So nothing but blind, idiotic devotion to the law. Even if everyone is worse off because of it. Gotcha.

further down int he article it mentions that she had to sell two pickups that belonged to their business and vacate their MH. apparently he had a small business with customers and likely employees if he had two trucks.

family man, hard working, likely religious, raising his three kids and her two before him for a total of 5 kids.

just the sort of person Jesus would want to throw out

wonder how the latinos that supported maga would feel about this

You guys are so transparent about who gets to do what, and who the laws apply to. Are they brown and from out of town? You gotta go ALL CAPS. Meanwhile the apartheid South African is just ripping up the constitution deciding what money people can have. .

you want us to break our own laws- well since you supported joey and Kammie I am hardly surprised- supporting our laws is hardly idiotic- how ever, thinking it is okay to break our laws certainly is idiotically extreme

The ABC article refers to Cameron Hamilton as the acting administrator. I assume that's the top spot.

Cameron Hamilton, acting administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, reposted Musk’s comments and said the payments were suspended as of Sunday.

So she's really just in it for the dress up photo ops. Musk does the oversight.

Conservatives have made it so obvious, and you cant argue that its about the law, because you have spent years saying enforcing laws was a "witch hunt" or "lawfare" when it comes to powerful white people.

The funny part is some of you will say "they broke the law" but if someone were to point others out to you that have broken the law you will just shrug your shoulders

They are too stupid and hopped up on their "anti-woke" trip to even cover their racism anymore by pretending laws apply to everyone

The deportation of a man from El Salvador during the first Trump Administration comes to mind. He had been living in the US legally for over 20 years under temporary protected status (TPS). He was married with a US citizen wife and two children both of whom were American citizens. He was employed as a construction project manager with a six figure income. The Trump Administration withdrew his TPS status and had him deported. Maybe it's just me but I don't think there was any benefit from deporting a productive taxpayer who had committed no crimes although I'm sure that the anti-immigrant posters to this board would disagree.

Another example of a Salvadoran deported subject to that decision:
‘We will lose practically everything’: Salvadorans devastated by TPS decision
Oscar Cortez feels like he has an ordinary American life. He carries a Costco card. He roots for the Boston Red Sox. And five days a week, he rises before dawn, pulls on four shirts and two pairs of pants, and ventures into the frigid air to work as a plumber, a good job that pays for his Maryland townhouse and his daughters' college fund.

The U.S. government opened the door to this life in 2001 when it granted Cortez and about 200,000 other migrants from El Salvador Temporary Protected Status (TPS), a provisional reprieve from deportation that has allowed them to work legally in the United States for 17 years. On Monday, the federal government said the protection will end in September 2019, sending waves of outrage and anxiety from Washington to Los Angeles and to the Central American nation itself.

Since it seems illogical to me tell me how the US benefited from deporting this guy. Or this woman.
Pennsylvania resident Karla Alvarado was 9 years old when she left San Salvador, El Salvador in 1997, with her aunt and 4-year-old brother. They went to meet her mother, who arrived in the U.S. a year earlier to escape Alvarado’s abusive father. Her mother sold everything she had to leave El Salvador, Alvarado said.

It took two weeks for Alvarado, her aunt and her brother to make their way from El Salvador to the U.S., traveling through Guatemala and Mexico. They entered the U.S. illegally and got TPS status in 2001. It came with “a sense of security,” Alvarado said.

As an adult, Alvarado lives what she called her “American dream.” She went to nursing school, works as a nursing supervisor in home care and bought a house with her husband. Now 29, she helps supports her mother and younger siblings.
