Ben Elsner -- New Director of Football Strategy

All teams will need to be able to deal with the new world of professionalized college football, ie player negotiations, strategic budgeting, etc. That necessitates personnel that can do that well. These hires appear well qualified with directly relevant experiences. I see few reasons to pass judgments anytime soon. Failing to make these hires would have raised a serious red flag.
