Seems like there has been a lot of "struck out looking" calls. How consistent is the umpire's strike zone?

Yep. Didn't remember hearing Gabi hit first time through the lineup.

 

No, I think it was a typo mistake. Ava is hitting for herself. Gabi never was in the game.

 

Bailey Holland is a junior RHP that has now thrown 10 innings, 6 hits, 2 runs, both earned, 4 walks, 9 K's, 1.40 ERA.

 

Reagan grounds out to 2b on a 2-2 pitch. 1 out.

 

Cahalan lines out to 2b on a 1-1 pitch.

 

Williams pops out to 2b on a 1-0 pitch. After 4 innings, Gators still ahead 1-0.

 

Ocala, Bellaire looking fine today, no issues. Ava with good control and none in the dirt. Kara made Bellaire look worse yesterday than she was with so many pitches in dirt.

 

Just an FYI for those interested. #5 UF Lacrosse just beat Kennesaw State 18-5 to open the season 2-0. I think the game was on ESPN+. They beat a ranked Johns Hopkins team in Baltimore a few days ago 12-11, scoring 3 goals in the last 3 1/2 minutes or so for the comback win.

At the break, want to share my surprise that the AU game is not on a replay but every other SDC game from yesterday was. Anyone find the replay? YouTube will have it eventually today. Don’t get it.

They've hit 4-5 at 'em balls. But despite the hard hit balls, from what the annoucers are saying their pitcher does have most of our hitter a little off balance.

 

Don't know about today but it was there on replay in Watch ESPN yesterday because that's how I watched it.
