Blowing something up isn't good change. It is blowing something up. If it needs fixing apply the fix. You don't demo the house because the plumbing is bad, you fix the plumbing. DOGE burns the house down with family inside and hasn't even hired an architect to design the new one let alone applied for a permit. Stupid
You must not be paying attention to what America has chosen to become : Parent grabs phone from child, checks headlines for Trumpy "wins", such as dismissal of criminal charges or firing aid workers. Smiles that libz were owned. Re-opens CandyCrushBlockMaze and hands phone back to child. Watches another hour and a half of Survivor : Bikini Apprentice Edition while child plays. Later thinks to self : "That there skool shore dint git mah kids' scores higher. I bet the criminal who sexually assaults women and is fixin' to cancel my Medicaid kin fix that!"
This. Tear down, then rebuild in a way to better serve Trump's constituents: the rich. (think vouchers) Or tear down as a distraction from their stealing and crimes. It's all so beyond obvious by now that it's almost degrading to even discuss these things as if anything is anything else. Of course the discussion is also just... .....distraction from their stealing and crimes. These people aren't acting in good faith. They're criminals.
Especially blowing something up when odds are, half these folks don’t have any idea how things work. And I am not talking politician level knowledge, nor Fox talking points, but people actually working in the trenches. Actually reminds me of an old boss who was hired and came in with sweeping changes. Then figured out we had contracts for services, agreements with other companies and loan stipulations that provided a framework. He finally looked at me one day and said, well I guess things are running like they should be. Lol Maybe if we blow up congressional aids vs USAID
I think a DoE is fine but they need to be focusing on providing the OPPORTUNITY for a world class education rather than making bad students feel good about themselves.
Republican Prayer: "God save the Children, except if it costs money through USAID. Those kids can die. Amen."
Here’s a question city; How many children’s lives were saved by that $1B of ridiculous/wasteful/fraudulent spending already uncovered at USAID? We gotta live the libbie hysteria at play here. We all know your smarter than this!
Perhaps poster can link a reputable source for this information? More likely.... a Pub wet dream headline from a crap source to get clicks. We'll wait for the link.......
No idea what you are talking about. Do you have any idea? The agency addresses a wide range of needs, from women’s health to clean water. Here is the 2017 handouts that dont help children drink clean water that you never posted about.
I guess he made a quick attempt at peddling misinformation, then scurried away after being called out. Seems like a very Trumppublican thing to do these days past 8+ years. I sure do miss when people one disagreed with politically at least agreed that lying and dishonesty were bad. I guess nowadays they're just following their leader...
The Reagan admin sucked on this issue. The report "A Nation at Risk" contributed to another meaningless/fruitless back to basics movement during the 80s. So what's your point? And if a thought from 45 yrs ago was good, why didn't anything come of it over such a period of time?
Hard to say exactly with out seeing the nature and terms of the breaks, but I’m most likely against these. It does bare a strange resemblance to a list companies with extremely high PAC donations, doesn’t it?
You cited "$1B of ridiculous/wasteful/fraudulent spending already uncovered at USAID?" Got a link to this? Or will you scurry away?
