But all kidding aside, if Golden really was smeared because he holds Israel citizenship, it’s by definition impossible to have any discussion about this root cause that isn’t saturated in politics.

That’s like discussing how cold it’s been last week without talking about the weather

 

This was an important unreported or under-reported aspect of the allegations. Possible motivation. It needed to be pointed out now that the allegations have been found unsubstantiated.

Let's just be aware of it and not turn this political. OK?

At least you weren't handing out pitchforks and pronouncing guilt the day the Alligator hit piece came out (not that I would ever expect you to).

 

How is it that this thread has taken a turn for the worse AFTER Golden was cleared?

 

Then what did the Alligator base their story on? I agree with the previous poster that suggested the Alligator has some ‘splainin to do.

There are two names attached to that original story. If those two ran with the story without seeing the evidence (even though they claimed some degree of 1st hand validation), arguably that would be malfeasance to the level they should be expelled from school if not sued. The only possible excuse is *if* the claimant went to somewhat elaborate lengths with fake images and fake messages which were shown to the reporter. That’s a slight possibility. I guess we’ll see what happens.

Great news and expected. Mob mentality is often why people lose careers and lives are ruined without due process. Common sense won out today.

 

Um, no. See 2023 to 2024 F$U FB results. Let’s see what he can build and sustain first. I’m happy for him and his family to be able to put this behind them. Speaking from a place of involvement in investigations, this had to have been stressful for he and his family.

 

This is why I never jump in these witch hunts. Let the facts play out and then judge following in after due process plays out.
