Just checked in from watching the 1st half ofg Washington/Philly. Surprised to see the Gators losing, let alone getting blown out. Auburn is only 10-10, 1-6 in the SEC. Yikes.

 

Just watched Texas comeback and beat Ole Miss on the road. Who else besides Kentucky and Texas has men coaching women's basketball teams the SEC?

 

Not on here to support KRF..she is not going anywhere after this year unless she chooses too
Mcgill is tethered to KRF..they have known each other for 10 years or so
I have said my opinion before we need more experienced asst coaches or a better associate HC to be in KRFs ears. She has 3 really really really good recruits coming in..she and her staff did a horrible job constructing this team this year.
We have a 6'5 young lady redshirting who is very good also. They wanted to put some weight and strength on her. Again it is pointless to keep saying she is in over her head and this and that. I am going to try and stay off this forum because I am very frurstrated with how they are playing right now. So I rather just come back on here next year with a clean slate
Also we have plenty of NIL money so they are going to be or try to be very active in the portal compared to last year which we didnt do anything really.

 

I am curious to watch that dynamic. Her sister I believe was her AAU coach or something like that so it probably helps, but with her talent and a less talented team next year as of right now you couldn't blame her if other schools snoop around... and they will because she is special.

We get the younger Kitts who is very good..
The 4 freshman so far coming in are better then any other Sr leaving. Literally the only Sr we will miss is Kyle. So how are we going to be less talented?
But we need to get a few wings from the portal and for gods sake lets bring in some other asst coach

again Liv has stated about 100 times that KRF was her first offer in 8th grade and she is intensely loyal to her. Has nothing to do with her sister. She is getting a very very nice NIL also..but in this day and age you can never say never.

Kyle and Warren are starters... also lose Kindred, Salgues, and Dizeko. Adding a class that is very unknown with question marks and one less player, that's before any transfers that might leave (or come in). A frosh international player is not likely to have the impact of Warren or Kyle.

 

They have no more control over that than you do.

 

I still think that with a very few exceptions for super star coaches WBB is still about continuity and relationships with Liv being a case in point. I will put my faith in Biggerigator15 and wait for next year. But I am old so please show some results soon

 

Kind of sad that this team seems to have a HARD ceiling. They play less-than-middling teams and blow them away and then they get to some of the better teams and can't seem to perform at all. Truly baffling. Something needs tweaking. I want Finley to succeed.

 

The team has talent, but they play unstructured street ball. They’re a mess, and mostly just run around out of control on both ends of the court. They out talent lesser teams, but teams with a similar level of talent and any coaching beat them easily. Teams with more talent and better coaching run them out of the gym.
