I don't think you watched the same interview I did. I mean Trump/Vance have taken more questions/done more interviews than the former President and Vice President. Heck! Sleepy Joe didn't even know where he was and Cackles Harris would just laugh through answers.
I thought his responses were clear, precise, and he talked about the policies the Trump administration were accomplishing. He stayed on topic and kept the interviewer on topic. She tried to get an ah ha moment but he didn't get ruffled I was impressed from start to finish
Yeah ... that's what I was talking about. I won't watch a 20 minute video but I read about that exchange. He admitted that grocery prices would not come down, but instead said people would make more money to offset it, which is what's been happening the last couple years. Wages keeping pace with inflation. ... so his new promise is that things will be exactly the same as under Biden.
He specifically mentioned lowering the coat of energy and oil prices would result in things becoming less expensive due to lower costs of transportation and storage. The thing about the clips that I have seen is that Vance was very comfortable advocating for a set of policies that it was clear the interviewer was not in agreement with. And he was able to push back against her when she attempted to fact check him, specifically on the cetting of the Afghanis that were let into the country.
