MAGA after school shootings: “Now is NOT the time to hold Republican lawmakers accountable”

MAGA after catastrophic fires: “YES! Now is the PERFECT time to hold Democrat elected officials accountable!”

The most unserious contingent strikes again lol

Trump made it seem like he was a man of the people, valiantly fighting for the citizens who were being prevented from clearing their own debris by the evil incompetent mayor, when in actuality she wasn’t preventing them from doing so. MAGA sheep are too busy glazing him to realize this tho.

    1. To your first point: McCain, McConnell. He may have been wrong on calling them out but out he did.
    2. Glad you enjoy the show. No charge.
    3. My point on calling incompetents out is it should be regularly…by everyone - almost to the point that you dog Trump.

Last point: 30 years from now, when a black female Republican wins the White House, this will be your post:
“Sure, an African-American woman Republican won the POTUS but are you aware when she was first eligible to vote she voted for a convicted felon rapist?” You might want to find a different schtick.

    An interesting contrast.

Early in the week: everybody should relax and not worry about Trump and his incompetence. Your life hasn't changed.

Late in the week: everybody should be constantly attacking every politician that they think is incompetent. Your life has changed greatly based on the dispute as to whether homeowners in LA are allowed to clear debris today or a week from today.

Sounds like the president is a typical liberal.

link to that application or permit name.

fyi, it was three days before we could get back on Ft Myers Beach after Ian. That is in Florida. After that, Sundays and Mondays were off limits and reserved for emergency recovery teams only for weeks. in FORIDA.

bodies, hazardous chemicals, toxic materials spills, think power transformers, garages, dry cleaners, household battery packs etc), explosive materials, compromised power lines, lots of issues to be addressed to make it a safe area to release civilians and then they need to control access and looting, especially at night

    Bass lied.. Trump knew it.

“So, I mean, we were told last night 18 months,” one resident told Bass. “So, if that’s not the answer, Mayor Bass, what is the answer? Because that’s what we were all told last night.”

if you understand the reality of the situation, you know that 99% of what he is saying is not only factually incorrect but is also 100% irrelevant.

under those conditions, there was nothing more that they could do than the houses in Homestead or the homes on Ft Myers Beach or a trailer in front of a tornado or all those homes in canyons in NC.

fire can be a natural disaster just like a hurricane, flood. earthquake, tornado...

to state anything otherwise is a total lack of understanding of the issue.

the new buildings will meet new codes just like the new ones being built on Ft Myers Beach right now and this shouldn't happen again just like the houses on FMB shouldn't get flooded again if properly built and elevated. Cali already has new building codes in fire prone areas and I can only assume they ae going to get even stricter. It is going to raise the cost of reconstruction.

Hopefully the areas that didn't burn make voluntary improvements after a near miss

Mother of God, look at these Trump shills; excuse making and justifying his vile, scummy, un-American politicization of a disaster.

Not a shred of dignity, grace, decorum, productivity, positivity, unity, or American values among the lot of them. Just a bunch of Monday morning finger pointers figuring out what stirs the rabble.

    Deplorable doesn't even come close.

Why, I'm also old enough to remember when Joe Biden went to North Carolina to criticize all the local politicians there. Everyone else remember that?

Right- you don't. Because he's not a criminal traitor that needs to tear everyone down to his low low low stature like your rapey criminal does.

some people believe they raise themselves up by putting others down

i was taught not to look down on someone unless offering them a hand up. he wasn't

MAGA says they want to return to the good old days and yet they follow someone who displays none of the core values of that period that they claim to desire

As usual, you are 100% incorrect in your shilling for the criminal.

McConnel has been one of the most effective Republican legislators in history, whether one agrees with his policies or not. And McCain was never criticized due to "incompetence", particularly not following a natural disaster.

If anything, the felon Trump criticized them for not being absolute toadies to Trump and his criminality. So again - 100% failure on your comparison attempt.

And weird hypothetical about a female Black Republican. Very strange. And apropos to absolutely nothing.

You may now carry on with your shilling for a grotesquely un-American criminal.

Yup. Trump knows inside that he is nothing more than a criminal piece of shit.

He simply tries to drag everyone down to his level. Hence the criticisms in crisis, and the fact that he began his political career ongoing con job by attacking Obama, and then with his childish nicknames of political opponents.

It's a sad, pathetic commentary on the American Trumppublican electorate that this crap is still tolerated.

What good does criticizing the LA Mayor do to help the thousands who lost everything in the fires do today? If the answer is none, then now is not the right time to make critical remarks. Hold them until there's ac rebuilding plan in place and people are getting what they need. Until then, just offer assistance and support.

The point was to allow people to immediately be able to start cleaning up their property. The local residents said they were not allowed because they needed a permit first.

The area isn't safe yet. Still potential embers burning, water damage, chemicals, and who knows what else. Police also want to keep looters away as about 1/3 of the buildings are still standing.

Permits aren't difficult to get. But they are needed for safety and security reasons. First responders need to know who is in area and why.
