Partially disagree. Trump himself has said it. He is the party. The voters are a different matter. Some would be for it and some against it. Just like Dems.

In this post opposing a laughably un-Constitutional amendment, created solely to enable a convicted felon is the same as........ creating it.

High level Jedi Mind Tricking there, sir! Well done!!

You also got me kinda riled up at all those Democrats who have spent years publicly lying for the only felon who tried to not peacefully transfer power. What, those were Republicans? No biggee...... both sides are the same. :)

Yes, American governance today is rich. (I remember Trump bragging back in 2016, "I am very rich.") Trump, Musk, Zuck, Bezos (did I leave some billionaire out?), all standing there together during the inaugural festivities, the oligarchy throwing their wealth in our peon faces.

I have said this in the past that I would be in favor of a term limit amendment that covers the President, Senate and the House. 12 years max for each of the 3 positions but a person could serve 12 years in 2 or all 3 positions. I would oppose this if it only covered the President.

So you could serve a max of 2 terms in the Senate, 3 terms as President, and 6 terms in the House.

Pretty sure passing amendments actually is an example of democracy, as provided for by the constitution ….

    22A work around… what am I missing?
Vance + stand in VP run and win 2029
Pubs controlled HoR make Trump SotH — no election required.
Vance + stand in VP resign
    Trump takes office as President.

    “Section 1

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.”

Did you read what I posted, I said: I have said this in the past that I would be in favor of a term limit amendment that covers the President, Senate and the House. 12 years max for each of the 3 positions but a person could serve 12 years in 2 or all 3 positions. I would oppose this if it only covered the President.

I didn't start on this site yesterday, I have been on here a long time and have said that before 2016.

ive read your calls on congress and senate, never recall you mentioning potus. if you did, my apologies

ot - term limits in the legislative branch sound great but short term limits remove lots of institutional knowledge and allows the executive branch to become much more powerful - one of the ways desi has been able to nose ring the legislature the last 6 years

Since 12 years were evenly divisible by the length of the 3 different term lengths I thought it was an easy solution, House 6 terms X2years=12 years, Senate 2 terms X 6 years =12 years, and President 3 terms X 4 years = 12 years,
