Republicans introduce amendment to allow Trump, but not Obama, a 3rd term

Figures. They want their orange emperor and depending on how things pan out, they may very well get him one way or the other. Who the hell is going to stop him if he decides he wants to stay on longer? The gop will never impeach him and what are the courts going to do? All he has to do is offer pardons to those willing to do his bidding.

 

It's a meaningless political stunt since there is no way the amendment would be ratified. It's essentially another example of Republican politicians kissing up to the Dear Leader.
