    We are lucky to have so many guns, which obviously keep everyone nice and safe. That's why our students are so much safer from shootings than those in every other industrialized nation on Earth.

    Thoughts and prayers. I think we just need to get over it now.

    If Sandy Hook and all the others didn't move the needle, none of the ones to come will either. The cost of doing business and a part of modern life. When is the next one?

    But both Alex Jones and Marjorie Taylor Greene denigrated victims of school shootings, and told lies about them. And then, of course, both of those people were either elected to office, or elevated to media prominence by vile and deplorable people who didn't care the slightest bit about their spreading hatred and lies. Republicans, that is.

    Here, I'll help you with MTG. You do Jones. Take some responsibility for your own education.


    Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., mocked a Florida school shooting survivor as an "idiot" who "only talks when he is scripted" in a 2019 interview with a Georgia gun group, according to a previously unreported video obtained by NBC News.

    In the 2019 interview, Greene gleefully recounted her encounters with Hogg, then a teenager who had become a gun safety advocate after the Parkland shootings.

    "I confronted David Hogg twice, and he ran away from me," Greene said in the interview, in which she bemoaned the ability of Hogg and other gun safety advocates to meet with lawmakers during a trip to the U.S. Capitol.

    Alex Jones is a MAGA thought leader with millions of followers, he got more hits than a lot of mainstream media sites, don't pretend he was just "some other guy" ...

    Seems more libs refer to him around here than cons. Personally, I’ve never read or listened to a word out of the guy’s mouth, but it seems like you have. Quite a bit in fact!

    It's so weird being on a board that leans left. The other boards I visit are filled with gun nuts.

    Righties love to play in people's faces and claim "I've never heard of him" or "I don't read any of his stuff" or "I don't watch his videos." 20 years from now they'll be saying "Donald Trump? Who's that?"
