I would not have been surprised if that heave went in. Playing poorly and down by only 7, so could be worse. I think we get the ball to strart the second half.

This game is another ugly start but Missouri was raining 3’s and Gators trailed by 16 at the half.

 

If they play a second half like they did against Mizzou or Texas everything will be just fine.

 

We will dominate the 2nd half. ; )

 

Our guys are letting our ballhandler get stuck 30 feet from the hoop with no outlet. They stand there after he's picked up his dribble and nobody goes to help him.

 

Todd needs to come up with another defense to help the interior defense

 

It's like watching the mizz game again, disappointing to see their energy level way above ours.

 

Mizz and SC are face guarding our guards, and thus preventing our offense from setting up.
Have to figure out a way to combat that.

 

Coach needs to straighten this out in the locker room.

 

Game leading scorer Murray-Boyles is 5-of-6 FG for 11 points.
Pringle is 3-of-4 for 6 points and two others have 6 as well.

 

See my comment about no one coming to help them.

 

We’re going to have to double down low when Murray Boyles gets it in the paint.

 

We knew this team would play like its back is against the wall. We are fortunate to only be down six which is a testament to the fortitude of this team.

This is basically a two-possession game. We have to speed them up. We are playing a half-court game with them and that favors their style of play as evidenced by the fact that they have more assists than we do.

When we are in the half-court, we have to start drawing fouls. I have not seen a game up until now where only 4 free throws have been shot in total.

 

Those coaches know how to disrupt us.

 

I hope Golden doesn’t say the same thing after we lost to Missouri - “they played harder than us.”

 

Both teams with only 2 foul shots that half. Given the way these things go I expect a big change there. Gators need to make theirs.

 

Martin is only 2-of-6 from the field, Clayton is only 3-of-7 (with no 3-pointers).

 

We have to learn how to overcome adversity on the road if we hope to go far in the NCAA tourney. Both sides of the ball has to play a ton better and it starts early in second half

 

Fouls are at four apiece..no one in foul trouble on either team
