I do not see how referring to Trump’s conviction as a felon for a state crime, has to do with the executive branch’s process for granting clearances. You would be wise to listen to @vaxcardinal on this topic and just wait for more information to come out. He has extensive knowledge of the process and the how and the why it was put in place.
After repeated requests, both you and the wise Vax have refused to enlighten us with this extensive knowledge as to how the felon's bypassing of protocols benefits the US interests. Your focus on the felon's state crimes does nothing to absolve his other indictments does it?
Maybe it's just me but I think providing access to the nation's most secure documents to persons who obviously shouldn't have access to those documents is much more significant than whether a visitor to the White House had cocaine. While neither is acceptable the former represents a threat to national security, the latter does not.
And we have explained to you that no one really knows what is gong on at this point. All you have is a couple articles claiming certain things and it has not been verified by anyone with actual knowledge of what is happening with the process. This is likely a speed up of granting of Interim Secret, and in some cases Interim TS clearances, to allow members of the Trump team to start working. Even if someone ends up being adjudicated to no being able to have a TS or Secret, they are still legally bound to not disclose any classified information that they have had access to. So until we actually find out what is going on, let's wait before freaking out about this.

You are assuming that the incompetence is on the Trump team based on one article. I do not think that a single source article is something I would put a lot of stock in. The counter argument is that Trump's campaign was professional run this time and so would his transition team and they have known that they had a better than 50% chance of winning this time around, so they would have been prepared. So maybe take a step back, realize a lot of these reporters do not know a lot about the this complicated process and how it is easy to make one side look "unprepared" by highlighting one small part of the process to someone unfamiliar with it.

The reality is that Trump won the election. The reality is also that even more so than during his first term he is throwing out norms because he can do so and in the case of awarding and/or pulling security clearances he is doing so because he can and very often to the detriment of national security. Those articles do not say what you are claiming. Those are about landing teams at a lot of agencies that do not deal with classified information. HHS, EPA, Commerce, etc do not deal with classified information. DOE does for certain things. What you are seeing is the Trump Team being very suspicious of the Obama D team that staffed the Biden Admin. The question is who are the people the investigations are being short cut for? If it is White House staff, then that makes sense since it is likely for the junior positions that need to be filled by people that have not worked in government before. The majority of senior staff likely already have clearances and would like just need to have a re-investigation with in the next year or two. We are in for four years of Trump. Why don’t we try and avoid falling into the trap highlighted below and listen to the IC professionals that deal with this on a daily basis.
